a. Value proposition
Offers on Catch marketplace are required to constitute competitive offers and adhere to the Catch Values. Catch has built a reputation over the years as providing great products for even greater value, and we want our customers to continue to enjoy the benefits our brand offers.
b. Shipping prices policies
Shipping prices must be reasonable and proportionate to the value and size of the goods shipped. Customers expect and understand that some items cost more to ship than others, but shipping rates should be commensurate to prevailing rates for shipping goods in the market. Artificially high shipping rates designed to, for example, offset discounts, do not just result in a poor customer experience, but may also be misleading and in breach of the law.
Additionally, to ensure buyers have transparent information about shipping prices, Sellers must provide clear and accurate information about where the product is shipped from.
c. Product compliance and IP complaints
We take intellectual property rights seriously and want to ensure all products sold on our marketplace comply with laws in relation to these rights. The Marketplace Participation Agreement sets out our Intellectual Property Rights Dispute procedures. If a third party wants to a raise dispute or complaint, we direct them to do it through the functionality on our platform, then:
(i) We will review the complaint and the listings about which there is a claimed infringement may be suspended.
(ii) we will notify you that there is a claim in relation to one or more of your listings and provide you with the relevant contact details of the claimant.
(iii) the relevant listings will remain suspended unless until both parties inform us that the issue is resolved, or we otherwise believe the issue is resolved.
Where there are multiple listings subject to a complaint, we may, at our reasonable discretion, suspend or terminate your entire account. You further indemnify us for your conduct which results in breach of intellectual property rights.
d. Catalogue curation
Part of ensuring the best possible customer experience on our platform is to enable customers to find what they want, quickly and easily, and not be inundated with hundreds or thousands of products. We curate our marketplace to ensure the customer experience is managed and optimised for the best possible outcome - a customer finding and buying what they want. To achieve this, we may only approve part of what you sell, and place restrictions on products, brands or categories we feel detract from the overall customer experience.
If a product has consistently poor sales, low satisfaction ratings, or is simply not selling, we may remove the product so we can prioritise items that customers want so they appear in search. As part of this, we reserve the right to remove products that have had no sales or been viewed in search results for 30 days.
e. Order Fulfilment
Catch requires that all products listed on the Catch Marketplace are owned and shipped by the Seller from the Seller’s distribution facilities. This is to ensure goods are of a consistent quality, are shipped on time, and to minimise potential complaints.
